The holy place where the 6th Dalai Lama was born. It is a very beautiful place covered with lush green trees with flowers and fruits situated in the valley of Tawang city.   He was born in 1682 to Tashi Tenzin and Tsewang Lhamo in present-day Arunachal Pradesh, India.

 

The main gate was open. However the main temple was closed when we arrived. As it is a holy place for Buddhist, it is mostly visited by local people. 

Transport: It is advisable to hire a cab as the public transport is almost nil or not available.
